Prior to Pennsylvania’s loophole primary this week, the Trump campaign has been heavily promoting this image, pictured above, informing voters who they should vote for in the district elections if they support Trump. Thanks to the Pittsburgh-Tribune Review, it is possible to assess Trump’s list against their stated voting intentions.
Of the 41 names on the list, 24 informed the Tribune-Review they would be supporting Trump. 3 indicated they would support Trump on at-least the first ballot. 7 indicated they would support whoever wins their district. 1 is leaning towards Trump but would reconsider depending on who wins their district. 2 were uncommitted. The remainder did not respond to the Tribune-Review’s survey.
